Social Sacrifice

Illamasqua

Reinvention is at the heart of the Illamasqua makeup brand. We brought it to life online with our Social Sacrifice campaign. We challenged Facebook users to surrender their profile to us, in return for the chance to win a unique Illamasqua make over.

A winner was selected at random, and we removed all the photographs from their Facebook account (we did save copies on to a disk, we’re not pure evil). Then we gradually replaced them with incredible shots of their prize. These included the starring role in an Illamasqua photo-shoot, enrolment into their School of make-up art, and access to an array of high-profile events.

The lucky winner was reborn, and her mates were as jealous as hell. Job done.
